Comedy Activities

Whoops! I didn't realise it had been soooooo long since my last entry.

I've been carrying out some more clandestine comedy activity. I detailed some of this in an earlier blog - pretending to be the Goddess of Football in sport forums, posting a lonely hearts' advert by Wilma Proops.

Art is For One; Arts is For All - the spoof goes on!
Theodore Parker Bowles performed a stunner at the Birmingham Rotary's Breakfast on 5th October at Birmingham Symphony Hall. Until he asked them to finger his Arts portal they sat there trying not to laugh. If you google "Theodore Parker Bowles" you'll see a link to their short report and a picture of Theodore in action. www.ComedyMoment.co.uk has a copy of his most controversial lecture to date

Have I mentioned An Evening With The Neighbour?
www.ComedyMoment.co.uk is producing and promoting An Evening With The Neighbour. It will be at The Old Joint Stock Theatre 16th - 19th April 2008. Claire Bennett, who won the SOAPIE Award for Best Episode this year will now be directing the show. If you want to book tickets (the theatre seats 80 so they will be limited) let me know via the website and I'll let you know when they go on sale

Other News
What else have I been up to? Wilma Proops has been advising all sorts of people via blog comments. This is proving far more fruitful than her lonely heart's ad that saw me being banned from gumtree.com. I've had a couple of confused emails from recipients as well as a few comments I will not publish as they're obviously by men with sticky keyboards.

Upcoming News
I've also developed another character who accidentally on purpose mildly insults earnest bloggers, tells them they are wrong and puts them right. Before I knew it today I had temporarily taken over one blog. I've a feeling he'll not see the funny side but I'm not that bothered.

My International Comedy Club - Still Free to Join!
Some more people have joined my international free membership Commedy Club but I haven't got round to designing its free Newsletter - perhaps I'll do them something for Christmas. More details are on my website www.ComedyMoment.co.uk

Buy a Limited Edition Comedy Moment Business Card
My Business Cards are a hit. Full colour, they feature an image of a miserable old git and proclaim "even this miserable old git will laugh". Don't ask me to send you one - I won't. Apart from anything else I only got 250. I might be tempted to sell a few for £5000 each but be warned, cheques must clear and you must pay your own postage.

Write to me! (please)
Write to me via www.ComedyMoment.co.uk if you have any suggestions, complaints or both.
